Gouri Shankar brings forward "POLLEN"

Myriad impressions of the scenic landscape interspersed with enchanting mountains and rainy clouds, edenic gardens, lush greenlawns and picturesque images of the flora and fauna crowd upon my mind as I seek to greet and address you here, in the lap of CMS. Ecstasy emanating from a stimulating environment blends with strong feelings of love for my alma mater as I ponder over the idea of welcoming you all to Pollen, a space of my own.

POLLEN

"Pollen", the very name suggests the allegory, a desire to sprawl, spread, unfold and radiate. This wall magazine is concerned with the finer sense and sensibility of budding architects of the corporate arena. It deals with an aspect based on our instincts, desires and ambitions. Whatever social, legal or ethical frameworks are prescribed for us, "Pollen" aims at projecting, revealing those with their most instinctual elements. India is now passing through a momentous phase of transformings(thanks to the new lingo delegated by the US Govt. recently that India is no more a developing country) in practically every field despite manifold obstacles. New vistas are confronting us with hopes and challenges. I wish my brethren to spread out in the global footpaths, to pollinate, "to strive, to seek, to find and not to yield", and to enlighten themselves and the society through multifaceted dimensions of striving, and of course through the ultimate-art, literature, culture and humanities. I wish "Pollen" new feathers, flying colours.
